Answer b): Usually, no. You lose much of the braking efficiency and the pedal becomes very heavy. Only in emergencies (e.g., towing) might you attempt it, but it’s not recommended.

Answer a): Open the hood, locate the brake fluid reservoir (marked “Brake Fluid”), and ensure the level is between MIN and MAX.
